A healthcare facility on Staten Island is actively seeking a compassionate and patient-oriented Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) to join their growing staff.
Responsibilities
The Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN):
- Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Works collaboratively with all other disciplines in Medical-Surgery
- Completes other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- BSN
- Registration in New York State as an RN
- Current BLS
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills are needed
- Current ACLS certification
- Medical-Surgical certification
- 1-2 years of medical-surgical experience
- Experience with telemetry and/or ventilator patients
